About Olivia

I’m Olivia Murphy, a Whidbey Island native and Licensed Massage Therapist. I bring a grounded and intuitive approach to massage therapy and energy healing, focusing on deep tissue, fascial techniques, and nervous system regulation. Whether you need a session for pain relief, self care, or are ready to let go of things that are no longer serving you, I’m here with a therapeutic and intentional style to bring about the reset you need.
I trained at the Bodhi Tree Center for Healing Arts in Carson City, Nevada, learning an array of modalities including therapeutic techniques, cupping, lymhpatic drainage, biodynamic craniosacral therapy, fascial freedom , tensional & positional releases, Swedish, and many more. I love to find what your body responds best to, and cocreate the perfect treatment for you!

My journey into the healing arts began in early childhood. I was raised in a family of bodyworkers, with parents who valued natural health and alternative medicine. I attended Whidbey Island Waldorf School through my younger years, going on to dabble in multiple careers including law, healthcare and startups before finding my way to massage school. My years in school were enlightening and transformative, for during that time we welcomed the birth of our first son. After graduation, our family decided to return to Whidbey Island to raise our (now two boys!) on the beautiful beaches and magical forests of my childhood. In addition to my private practice, you can find me at the Spa at the Inn at Langley. I look forward to our sessions together!

My Philosophy

Bodywork is the gateway to releasing stagnation, whether that be in your physical tissue or an energetic block. You will find they are typically one and the same. Energy is the basis of life. Whether you consider energy via a chemical, electrical, mechanical, or spiritual lens, the role of energy cannot be downplayed in our body’s function and daily life on earth. Naturally, our bodies operate on energy to survive, and this energy travels through our tissues, directing change and storing memory. We can create lasting change by working with fascia and the subtle body to return to homeostasis.

Mind & Body Connection

Massage is about more than just your physical body - it is about returning to a state of balance,
groundedness, and ease. When the body relaxes, so does the mind.
